About Riverside Study Center

Riverside Study Center is a Center of the Prelature of Opus Dei. It serves as a place of residence for a group of members of the Prelature who, in addition to their professional activity in various fields (business, academics, journalism, etc), help organize formational activities sponsored by Opus Dei.

There are multiple such centers in the United States. Riverside has the peculiarity of being housed in a landmark building, the Davis Mansion. Since 1978, the directors of Riverside Study Center have sought to maintain the exterior and interior of this architectural gem.

The house is not a museum: it's a home where some Opus Dei members live as a family. Nevertheless, occasional open houses are organized so as to allow neighbors and other visitors to appreciate some aspects of the original Davis mansion.
